🌟 Year 10 Work Experience Week is underway! 🌟

This week, our Year 10 students are out on work experience across Ealing and beyond. They're gaining hands-on experience, building confidence and exploring a wide range of career opportunities.

Our students are working with some fantastic employers, including @bruneluni, @uniwestlondon, @ealingcouncil, @segroplc , @natwest, @watesgroup, @shaw_trust, @westyouthzone, local primary schools, charities, libraries and many other organisations who have generously welcomed them this week.

Students at Wates Property Services have had a brilliant start, taking part in speed networking, hearing about different career journeys and visiting Rope Access in London (R.A.I.L.), where they learned about specialist construction careers, rope access and the importance of safety.

Meanwhile, students completing their placement in school are taking part in a brilliant programme with Shaw Trust, developing their employability skills through careers workshops, employer talks, interview practice, practical activities and a showcase event at the end of the week.

A huge thank you to every employer and organisation supporting our students this week. Opportunities like these make a real difference and help our young people discover what's possible for their future.

Last week saw #FinanceWeek where our Year 7, 8 and 9 students learnt about Finance as part of their early introduction to real life money skills.

They confidently presented their work and it was fantastic to see some students go above and beyond by creating impressive 3D models.

Well done to everyone for their effort and creativity!

Year 10 Art and Design students spent the day working with staff from the world-famous Rogers Stirk Harbour and Partners architectural practice @rshparchitects and the Royal Institute of British Architects @ribalondon

Working in teams, they responded to a design brief, created plans, mini architectural models and pitched their work. The project enabled students to work with professionals within industry and broaden their understanding of possible careers.
